Thieves struck again at Rappahannock Clinic last Tuesday and a variety of medications were taken. Rntry to the building in Washington was gained by breaking a side window. On first inspection by clinic personnel nothing was found missing. However, later they realized differently.
Rappahannock’s Sheriff Department is investigating the theft and have several leads on the case.
After breaking ahd entering the clinic and obtaining the drugs, the vandal or vandals hid them in a sack under the bridge east of town. They were discovered there by a fisherman seeking minnows, and turned over to the Sheriff.
Several other thefts have been reported, also. Four juveniles, two females from Front Royal and two males from Vienna have been apprehended in Ohio after stealing a VW in Rappahannock.
According to Deputy R. D. Hawkins, a 1959 Volkswagen owned by Linda Heimstra on Fodder$tack Road near Washington was taken. The juveniles were apprehended in Mentor, Ohio by city police.
