Mrs. Agnes Holdren of Camp Springs, Md., and Mr. and Mrs. Holtzman Frazier of Fredericksburg spent the weekend here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Frazier. They came for the funeral of their uncle, Edgar Jenkins.

Mr. and Mrs. James Butler of Arlington were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill. ,

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan attended the annual picnic of “Chinquapin Village” in Alexandria on Sunday.

Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Goerge Butler were Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson of Woodville, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hawkins and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Butler and family. Afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. George Butler, Jr., and Mrs. Elaine Timmons and family of Culpeper.

Jaycees

The new chapter of the Rappahannock County Jaycees held its organizational meeting last Thursday night at the Rappahannock Recreation Center. Twenty people representing every locality in the county attended. The next meeting of the Jaycees tfill be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 at Hampton Inn. Any questions regarding the Jaycees can be answered by calling the acting president Doug Baumgardner at 675-3617 (day) or 987-8502 (evenings).
