Tom Eddins, County Executive Director in Rappahannock County, said, ‘‘Since the program was approved for Rappahannock County in July we have been unable to determine a farmer’s loss in many cases. This was due to the fact that most farmers at that time still had corn or hay in the fields. Now that much of the corn and hay has been harvested we hope that we will be in a better position to determine a farmer’s loss.”
