Raymond P. Kuttenkuler, District Director of the Small Business Administration Richmond District Office, today announced that farmers in Rappahannock County are eligible to apply for Physical Injury Disaster Loans if they sustained crop losses as a result of a severe drought during the 1976 and 1977 crop years.
These loans are for the actual amount of dollar loss sustained by the farmer as a result of the adverse effect of the drought on his crops. The loans bear an annual interest rate of 3 per cent on the first $250,000 and 65/» per cent on that portion exceeding $250,000. Authority to accept applications for Physical Injury Disaster Loans will expire Oct. 28.
