Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music in Winchester is offering a workshop for music teachers Sept. 24-25.
The workshop, planned to provide professional development and personal enrichment, is open to music teachers and their students. Registration will be held in the lobby of Armstrong Building on the Shenandoah campus at 7:30 p.m. on Sept 24 and again at 1:00 p.m. on Sept. 25.
There is a $3.00 registration fee for music teachers to cover the cost of preparation of materials. There is no fee for students.
Advance registration is encouraged but not required.
Teachers interested in having students perform for the master class should contact Dr. Charlotte Collins, Shenandoah Conservatory Faculty Chairman, supplying name of the student, age, performing medium, duration of previous study, and possible repertoire to be performed. Performers selected will be notified in advance.
