The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection has released the results of a research project sponsored jointly with the Piedmont Environmental Council on land use in Rappahannock County. A summary on the project, compiled by Eva Dahlgren of Flint Hill, is included in RLEP’s November newsletter.
The survey found 4,477 separate parcels of land recorded in the county deed book. Almost one-third of the parcels are less than one acre. Fifty-three additional parcels are listed as “lots*’.
