Mrs. Martha Jane Anderson, 96, of Front Royal, died Friday, March 16, 1979, at Warren Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Anderson was born March 14, 1888, at Capon Bridge, W. Va., daughter of the late James and Virginia Snyder Marpel. She was the widow of Henson Anderson.
She is survived by two sons, Carson Anderson of Glen Burnie, Md., and Loring Anderson of Washington, two daughters, Mrs. Martha Virginia Gillespie of Front Royal and Mrs. Nellie Marie Bromley of Berryville, 31 grandchildren. 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted March 18 at the Mt. Salem Baptist Church, Washington, by the Rev. William Alford. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
