4-H Riding
Camp Set
4-H’ers who are at least 11years-old and secure on horseback at a walk, trot and canter are eligible to participate in the second annual Wintergreen 4-H Riding Camp scheduled June 17-22 at Wintergreen Resort.
The camp will provide instruction in hunt seat equitation, stable management, theory of riding, jumping, showing, dressage and trail riding. Learning how to teach others will also be emphasized during the six-day camp.
Qualified youth will be accepted on a first come-first served basis. The deadline for application is May 21. Cost of the camp is $185, $25 of which must be submitted with all applications.
