standard of living. Why should we object to our farm land going up in price because of foreign investment? If the land were to decline in value the fanners would probably be the first ones to complain.

I believe there should be free trade among the nations of the world. The lack of trade barriers among the states of the United States has been an important cause of our economic prosperity. It also enhances peaceful relations among the nations of the world.

Registration of foreign investment in farm land will only lead to retaliation by other countries.
