It is difficult to understand the bias against land purchases by foreign investors'. The citizens of the United States have invested billions of dollars overseas. Although this investment greatly benefits the citizens of those countries, these US investors have not always been appreciated.
1 see no reason why we should object to foreigners investing in the United States. All of us (including American Indians) came from foreign countries ourselves.
There is considerable advantage to foreign capital coming to the United States. We are already suffering a serious imbalance of trade, which has led to deterioration in the value of the dollar overseas. Foreign investment here helps to redress this imbalance.
