Philip Butten recently elected Lion’s Club Zoning Chairman for this area, was honored with a dinner Saturday evening at the Fauquier Springs Country Gub. He is chairman for Region 4 and Zone 2 which includes Culpeper, Fauquier, Remington, Warrenton and Rappahannock. Those attending from the area were Mrs. Butten, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Holschuh of Castleton, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Daczewitz of Woodville, Mrs. Mary Jane Wigel of Ravenswood, West Va., Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley, Col. and Mrs. Robert Ingle, Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz, Chuck Wigel and the Rev. &nd Mrs. Jennings Hobson.
Calling on Mrs. Gabe Burke Friday were Ranny Burke and Jerry of Manassas and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Burke and Jeff. Saturday Mrs. Burke was honored with a birthday dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Davis Burke in Manassas. Mrs. Roy Alther and children of Sperryville were Sunday visitors of her mother.
