Takes Effect
New Potomac Edison electric rates approved by the State Corporation Commission will become effective in Virginia with usage beginning March 15.
The SCC approved higher rates designed to increase PE’s annual revenue from its Virginia customers by $3.35 million. The company had requested a $6.2 million increase.
A residential customer using 580 kilowatthours a month will notice a monthly increase of $1.92, or about 7 per cent, including the levelized fuel rate.
