James Menefee was a Saturday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Neals and Gary in Warrenton. Sunday they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Menefee Jr., Mrs. Earl Menefee Sr., Brenda and Dennis, Marvin and Peggy Owens, all of Warrenton, Mr. and Mrs. Udel C. Layton, Robert Jenkins and Dee Dee of Charlottesville and David Foster of Gainesville. They attended a musical show at Fauquier High School and later dined at the Town and Country in Warenton.
Judd Burke was honored on his 80th birthday Sunday, at the Flint Hill fire hall with a dinner given by his children, Missy Mary Burke of Falls Church, Mrs. Charles Corder of Manassas, Mrs. Ellis Clatterbuck of Centreville and Charles Burke of Richmond. The Burke’s have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Burke was presented a bountiful money tree, gifts and cards. He has two brothers, Charles Burke of Washington and Isaiah Burke of Berryville. Many other friends and relatives attended.
Overnight guests Monday of Mrs. Eva Smith were Mr. and Mrs. Galley W. Smith of Georgia.
