The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet on Tuesday, November 13, at 2 p.m. at Redwood, the home of Mrs. John S. Kearns.
Guest speaker for the meeting will be Mrs. Howard W. Holschuh, who will present a slide-illustrated program on Old Buildings of Rappahannock. Assisting Mrs. Holschuh in her American Heritage program will be her husband, Captain Holschuh (USN, Ret.).
Capt. and Mrs. Holshuh have been residents of Rappahannock Coupty for seven years, during which time they have been active with the Historical Society and in the USA Bicentennial celebration there.
The American Heritage Committee, one of the more recent DAR national committees, was formed in 1963 to aid and encourage the preservation of the art, architecture, crafts, music, drama, and literature of America’s colonial years, as well as to promote interest in that unique native heritage.
