Ed Clark of Flint Hill has been named executive director of the Conservation Council of Virginia Foundation. The Richmond based organization offers services to both government and private citizens interested in conservation, with a focus on education and information.

According to Clark, the foundation will advise individuals with conservation related problems on where to go to get access to the public process and will provide connections with other conservation groups throughout the state.

Gark said the foundation will also monitor state agencies involved with conservation issues. He reported that a conservation radio program to be broadcast statewide is also in the planning process. The foundation will give citizens coming to Richmond
