C. E. "Ned” Johnson of Sperryville presented the Rappahannock supervisors with the county’s first application for an Agricultural and Forestal District (AFD) at Thursday’s board meeting.
The proposed district includes 750 acres that “have been in agricultural production for more than 100 years,” according to Johnson.
