Fire-Rescue
The Washington Rescue Squad transported Daniel Norman from his home at Rock Mills to Culpeper Memorial on November 6 and responded to an auto accident November 4, however services Were not rendered.
On October 18 the Flint Hill Rescue Squad transported Elizabeth Jenkins from the Aileen plant to Warren Memorial; on October 21, B. J. Wood from Rt. 522 to Warren Memorial; October 24, Mrs. Eva L. Smith from home to Rappahannock Clinic, then to Warren Memorial, and on October 26 Roger Lee Rutherford from his home on Rt. 231 to Warren Memorial.
The Flint Hill Rescue Squad transported Wendy McDonald from an auto accident on Rt. 522 north of Flint Hill on November to Warren Memorial and November 3 took Charles Dawson from his home on Rt. 647 to Warren Memorial.
The Flint Hill Fire Department answered a call October 30 to Payne’s Garage in Washington, October 27 to a house fire on Rt. 659 at the Randy Jones’ residence, and on November 1 responded to a fire on Rt. 638 at Fred Thompson’s home.
The Sperryville Rescue Squad took Mrs. Gladys Sisk from her home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial October 30, and Mrs. Phyllis Rambone of New York was taken to Culpeper Memorial on November 2 from an auto accident west of Sperryville.
Anniversary
The Hopewell Pastor’s Aid Club's 12th anniversary will be celebrated this Sunday, November 11, at the church in Sperryville beginning at 3 p.m. The Harmonizers of Culpeper, Virginia, will be the guest singers. The public is invited.
