The Senior Class is sponsoring a dance this Friday from 8 to 11 p.m. This will be a dress-up affair and no blue jeans can be worn. A disc jockey will be the source of entertainment.

In the girls’ last basketball game which was against Strasburg, they didn’t win, but did put up a great fight. Strasburg has one of the top girls’ team in the district. The crowd present certainly got its money’s worth.

Peter Luke, candidate for Commonwealth’s Attorney, spoke to history and government classes last week.

Mr. and Mrs. John Kent Reeve of Washington announce the birth of a son, John Robert Tolman, on October 30, 1979, in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. Grandparents of the infant are Mrs. Alice R. Wood of Washington and Mrs. John Reeve of Bountiful, Utah.
