Students Visit
Battlefields
Wakefield Country Day School history students' have completed a battlefield study in connection with the Civil War which included tours to the battle sites.
A series of trips, to Antietam in Sharpsburg, Md., Fredericksburg, Charlottesville and New Market, was concluded by a weekend excursion to Gettysburg, Pa. They attended the lectures in the visitor’s centers.
Wakefield School is located in Huntly and is headed by Dr. William Lynn.
