Lyt Wood and Raymond Johnson of Rappahannock have been elected vicepresident and treasurer of the Northern Piedmont Beekeepers Association at the organization's annual Christmas dinner held recently.
Directors for the association include John Schultz of Washington. John Amberson. outgoing president, is county advisor from Rappahannock and Wood is committee chairman from the county.
Amberson was presented a silver platter in appreciation for his outstanding leadership as president and three years as secretary since the association was organized in August. 1976.
Anyone interested in beekeeping may contact a county officer for further information on the Northern Piedmont Beekeepers Association.
