He agreed, however, to try to find funds in the school budget provided the supervisors understood the school board may not be able to scrounge up the full amount.
“If you all don’t get as much money back from the gas accounts, you understand where it’s going,” Mrs. Massie added.
In response, the supervisors voted unanimous approval for authority to transfer funds within categories of the school budget for the specific purpose of paying for installation of the panic button.
