Harold Marshall Curtis of Leesburg died December 11, 1980, of an apparent heart • attack. He was 63, a native of Rappahannock County. He was born in Amissville, the son of Mrs. Julia Walter Curtis, who survives him, and the late Walter James Curtis.

He was a retired employee of Capitol Transit Company in Washington, D. C., and had resided in Rockville until 1969 when he moved to Loudoun County. His wife, Doris D. Curtis died in 1972.

Mr. Curtis enlisted in the U, S. Army during World War II and served in the Philippines, then later in the occupation of Japan.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, James Michael Curtis of Rockville; a daughter, Karen C. Norris of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a brother, Walter (Jack) Curtis of Flint ' Hill, and four grandchildren. 1 A funeral service with full ' military honors was held Monday at the Culpeper 1 National Cemetery. The Rev. Peter Weems conducted the last rites.

Agnes May BIac]c, a longtime resident of Sperryville, died Wednesday, December 10, 1980 in Glen Bumie, Md. She was 67, the daughter of the late William J. May and Sally Russell May of North Carolina.

Survivors include her husband, G. M. Black of Glen Bumie; five daughters, Mrs. Betty Sisk of Glen Burnie, with whom she was living; Mrs. Peggy Dodson of Pasadena, Md., Mrs. Barbara Bunting of Danville, Mrs. Fay Hodges of Richmond and Mrs. Judy Armentrout of Woodville; a son, Mark Black of Pasadena, Md.; 13 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ila Sandy of Lenoir, N. C.
