Biddle informed the BZA that Parlagreco has contracted with Community Trash Service to install and maintain a trash container for apartment use so that solid waste from the proposed project won’t overload the county’s dumpster at Castleton.
According to the attorney, the apartment vicinity will be landscaped with trees, shrubs and lawns. A small recreation area with picnic tables and barbecue pit is planned for the rear of the building.
As to outside structural changes in the old chicken shed, Biddle said only that the roof would have to be raised on one side. He noted that the health department has checked water supply “and considers it adequate for what is proposed.” If more water is needed, he said, Parlagreco is prepared to sink a second well.
