Methodist Activities
1116 United Methodists of the Rappahannock Charge (Sperryville, Willis Chapel and the Flint Hill United Methodist Churches) will present a living nativity again this year on December 20 from 7-9:30 p.m. in the shed at the George Davis property on Rt. 211 east of Washington. A Christmas play will be presented at Flint Hill Methodist on December 21 at 11 a.m. and a program will be held at Willis Chapel United Methodist Church. Huntly, at 7 p.m. December 21.
A candlelight communion service will be held at the Sperryville Church at 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 24. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Chester Gap Baptist Sunday. December 21, the church's adult choir will present a living nativity with the Christmas story in narration. The public is invited.
Washington Baptist
Washington Baptist Church will present the Christmas musical “Stranger in the Straw” at the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday, December 21. The performance will be followed by a covered dish luncheon. All are welcome to attend.
