Settle
A graveside service tor Gary Wayne Settle, infant son of Kenneth Wayne and Beverly Frye Settle of Culpeper, was conducted Friday at the Sperryville Cemetery by the Rev. Peter Weems.
The Settle infant died | Wednesday. March II. 1981. at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
Other survivors include his grandparents. Mrs. Shirley Frye Hitt of Castleton and Mr. and Mrs. William Settle of Rixeyville. Greatgrandparents are Mrs. Carrie Jenkins and Mrs. Susie Frye, both of Sperryville. Mrs. Lacy Settle of Culpeper and Mrs. Lucy Shaw of Mitchells. Mrs. Lillie Leake of Sperryville is the great-great-grandmother.
Hahn
George L. Hahn. 82. of Sioux City. Iowa, died there Monday. March 9. 1981. A graveside service was held Friday at Fairview Cemetery. Culpeper.
Mr. Hahn was a retired farmer, originally from Boston, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Burton-Hammond VFW post.
He is survived by a daughter. Mrs. Phyllis Wilmot of Sioux City; two sisters. Mrs. Hanna Smith and Mrs. Nancy Huffman, also of Sioux City, and a brother. John Hahn of Sidney. Ohio. His wife was the late Una Updike Hahn, a teacher in the Rappahannock school system.
