Hidden Talents
Hidden talents surfaced. The partners needed someone who could meticulously cut out designs from the handpainted wallpaper. "After debating who on earth could do a perfect job. we , found someone right here —Josephine Aylor. who's been a devoted and loyal employee of The Inn for several years.” O'Connell said.
With a small Exacto knife, she cut out medallions which were fixed to the ceiling in combination with paint to form what appears to be inlaid goldwork. She also cut carefully around smaller medallions that were pasted on the wallpaper boarders in the reception room, lounge and hall. “Each one was flawless.” added O'Connell.
