(Continued from Page 1) necessary because Snead's plans fulfilled all the requirements of the present zoning ordinance. “I am aware of that.” Snead said, "my intention, though, is not to do anything that is .objectionable to my neighbors, not just to fulfill the law.” Snead said that he had talked to adjacent property owners and invited them to come to the meeting if they had any objections but none appeared.
At Snead's request. Council voiced their unanimous approval of Snead's plans, although Miller repeated it was not necessary. He noted that this action would not set a precedent. Miller reminded the Council that when the new zoning ordinance is completed, requirements for paved access roads will be included.
Mayor and Council discussed a brief wave of vandalism that had struck the town, leaving the town boundary markers uprooted and laying beside their original foundations.
