Circuit Court Judge Shore Robertson will hear suggestions on filling the board of zoning appeals vacancy from Piedmont District beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, in the courthouse.
Persons interested in being considered for the opening created by the resignation of Charles K. Estes or wishing to comment on the appointment are invited to be present.

With the state wide political races swinging into high gear, even little Rappahannock County is getting its share of visits from office seekers in search of votes.
Wyatt Durrette, Republican candidate for attorney general, and Gerald Baliles, Democratic candidate for the same post, will be at the court house in l Washington in the next week, vying for local support.
Durrette will be in town on Thursday, July 23, to talk ; with county officials and employees and any interested citizens.
Baliles will be at the court house on Wednesday, July , 29, at 2 p.m. to answer questions and discuss this year’s race for attorney general.
