Miss Frankie R. Keyser, 79, of Chevy Chase, Md. died Monday, July 20, 1981 in a nursing home in Adelphi, Md.
Services will be conducted Friday, July 24 at 11 a.m. at Washington Masonic Cemetery by the Rev. John Farrar of Culpeper. A native of Rappahannock County, Miss Keyser was the daughter of the late Charles H. Keyser and Loula Rixey Keyser.
Miss Keyser began her career with the federal government in the early 1930s as a secretary with the FBI. During World War II she worked for several government agencies before joining the personnel department of the National Bureau of Standards in 1947.
When she retired in 1962 she was its chief of recruitment.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. John H. Long of Williamsburg; one brother, Charles H. Keyser Jr. of Oceanside, Calif., three nieces, two nephews and one great nephew.
