Styer

Mrs. Mary Styer died Wednesday, July 15, 1981 at Hawksbill Nursing Home in Luray. Memorial services were held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bridges, Reality Farm, Washington. Mrs. Styer was bom in Washington., D. C. in 1897. She was a long time resident of Washington, Va. and was previously a resident of St. Petersburg, Fla. She was the wife of the late Ralph A. Styer.

She attended Central High School in Washington, D. C. and was a graduate of West Chester State Teachers College in Pennsylvania. She owned and operated her own private kindergarten and taught in public schools in Pennsylvania and Virginia.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Helen S. Bridges of Washington, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
