Wakefield School in Huntly will offer a special two week Scholastic Aptitude Test preparation course for area students from July 27 through August 7.
Designed for students about to enter the 11th and 12th grades, the course will include: a detailed description of the SAT and TSWE with explanation of the different types of questions; instruction on how students should approach answering questions and use their time efficiently; extensive practice using sample tests and answer sheets; explanation of answers and the scoring of tests.
The cost of the two week course, including text, is $50 per student. The hours of instruction will be from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M., with a break for lunch and recreation.
Any college-bound area student is eligible for enrollment in the course, but the number of openings is limited.
