(RCEA). Patterson reviewed for the board at its July 14 session some of the problems caused by lack of space at RCHS: —Ten students left out of the office practice class, all of them seniors, will not be able to complete the state minimum program in business. —There will be no remedial math instruction that a math lab would provide.
—Forty-five students who wanted to enroll have been taken out of math classes for the coming school year. Patterson noted that many localities across the state, Culpeper included, “have decided that they can afford three years of math instruction for all students...a basic for good education.”
—There will be no academic English classes for 1981-82 in eighth, ninth and tenth grades. Offering this option would better prepare Rappahannock students for college, according to Patterson.
