The marriage of Carolyn Marie James and Bobby Eugene Goss took pace August 22, 1981, at the home of the brides mother near Amissville. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Ray Crockett, pastor of the Amissville United Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Katie James and the late Braxton James. The bridegroom is the son of the late James Blair and Flora Helen Goss.
The bride was escorted by her brother David James of Culpeper. She wore a pink gown with a matching lace jacket and carried a bouquet of white gardenias with ivy and baby’s breath.
