Dee Dee Grant and Laura Tupper left Sunday for their freshman year at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg. Laura is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Tupper and DeeDee is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Eldred.
Mrs. Paul Miller of Flint Hill, Mrs. Mary G. Edmonds of Huntly, Mrs. Lyman Jacobsen of Williamsburg, Mrs. H. M. Keyser and Mrs. L. J. Turner spent last week at Litchfield Beach in South Carolina.
Mrs. L. J. Turner was a Sunday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. William Dewhirst, Anne Dudley and Scott in Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. James M. Pharr of Newport News spent Wednesday night at the home of Mrs. Turner.

Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley returned home Tuesday after camping for several days at Mill Bridge Campground in Soundersburg. Pa., with Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Pfalzgraf of Fairview Beach.
