Delegate Raymond R. “Andy” Guest announced today he has received an invitation from President Reagan to attend a briefing at the White House to update him on the changing role of State government in the Federal government.
Guest will be briefed by Cabinet members and the White House staff prior to meeting individually with the President late the afternoon of September 29th in the Oval Office. “Not only is this a great honor but also it is a great opportunity to carry the concerns and problems of the 18th Legislative District to the White House”, Guest said. “It’s also a wonderful way to spend the afternoon of my 42nd birthday”, he added.
The incumbent Republican who is facing a challenge from Page County supervisor Richard Catron for the new 18th District seat has legislative offices at 27 South Royal Avenue in Front Royal, telephone 635-8822.
