Jenkins

Funeral services for Aubrey Robinson Jenkins of Sperryville were conducted on Wednesday at Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church near Sperryville by the Rev. John Burke. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery.

Mr. Jenkins, 81, a carpenter, died on Sunday, September 20, 1981, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Frank A. and Mary Jane Clatterbuck Jenkins. His wife was the late Ellen Gay Baker Jenkins. He was a member of Thornton Gap Church.

He is survived by five sons, Jimmy R. Jenkins and Troy C. Jenkins, both of Sperryville, Abbie G. Jenkins and Lewis Wayne Jenkins, both of Washington, and David A. Jenkins of Carlisle, Pa.; four daughters, Mrs. Edna V. Burke and Mrs. Ivy E. Racer, both of Washington, Mrs. Kathleen Lee of Flint Hill and Mrs. Linda G. Dwyer of Sperryville; 30 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son. Nelson F. Jenkins.
