Banquet speaker on October 2 is Thomas C. Binkley, president-elect of the National Association for Mental Health. An attorney from Nashville, Tennessee and active in mental health activities at the local, state and national levels, Binkley’s topic will be “Getting It All Together: People, Programs and Money."
At the luncheon on October 2, delegates to the meeting will hear views on the future of Virginia’s mental health programs expressed by representatives of Marshall Coleman and Chuck Robb, candidates for Governor in the November election. Friday workshop sessions will focus on “Marketing the MHA,” “The Legislative Process,” “MHA Role in Assessing Community Needs and Services" and “Developing MHA Leadership.”
