Raymond H. Williams of Amissville was cited for driving while intoxicated and reckless driving September 11 following an auto mishap on Route 211 west of Amissville, according to Trooper R. A. Baines.
Williams, driving a '69 Chevrolet, lost control of the vehicle, ran up an embankment and back into the road, said Baines, who estimated damages at $500 to the vehicle.
Two vehicles were involved in a traffic collision September 17 at the intersection of Routes 211 and 522 in Sperryville.
Leo G. North of Clinton, Md. operating a Ryder rental GMC truck was stopped at the stop sign when he decided to back up and turn into the Sperryville Exxon station. In so doing, he struck a *77 Chevrolet operated by Douglas Clatterbuck of Washington, according to Baines.
