Shryock
Frank “Amos” Shryock, 83, of Greystone Terrace, Winchester, died December 10. 1981.
Mr. Shryock was born April 21, 1898, in Winchester, the son of the late Frederick Adam and Ida Finkbine Shryock. He was the former owner of F. A. Shryock Co., Inc. and an orchardist. retiring in 1967. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, past president of the Kiwanis Club in 1950 and past treasurer of the Apple Blossom Festival.
His wife, Elizabeth Hall Shryock preceded him in death in 1978.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward Shokes of Winchester and Mrs. Walter Lawrence of Richmond; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Bowles of Boyce, and Mrs. Mary Richards of Melbourne, Fla.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the graveside in Mount Hebron Cemetery by the Rev. David Knight.
Sisk
Milton Sisk. 76, of Culpeper died Thursday, December 10, 1981 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the F. T. Valley Church conducted by the Rev. Ronald Wiley and the Rev. Milton Switzer. Burial was at Etlan Cemetery.
Born in Rappahannock County on October 6, 1905, he was the son of the late Jacob Randolf and Carrie Maude Frazier Sisk.
He is survived by his wife. Dolly May Deal Sisk of Culpeper; one. son. Jack William Sisk of Tazewell; three daughters, Mrs. Judith Ann Cliff of King George. Mrs. Jessie Louise Settle and Miss Jean Katherine Sisk, both of Culpeper and four grandchildren. ' •> :";V
