gone-astray squadron of angels sent to announce the birth of Christ to the Bethlehem shepherds. Although written in a somewhat humorous vein, the play’s serious underlying message concerns man’s response to the Christmas message.
In addition to the play, the Wakefield Pageant will include a candlelight procession, readings from the Scriptures, and a presentation of Christmas music by the Wakefield Chorus and Orchestra under the direction of Mrs. Gloria Harris.
