I Agree

I agree with your editorial in the Newt 12-10 issue. For instance, the general district court cases have caused me to observe the 55 mile limit the hundreds of times I’ve driven from McLean to Jenkins Hollow.

Again, I Agree
Editor:
I want you to know that I agree with ybur editorial in the Rappahannock News of 10 December. My wife and I enjoy the paper and hope you keep up your good work in reporting the news.
I must say that you certainly treated my remarks and positions fairly while I was on the Board of Supervisors. The fact that the paper had views on subjects that differed from those I expressed did not bother me- after all, the world would be a dull place if we all agreed with each other all the time. The important thing is to have an open dialogue.
To those who disagree or complain with your reporting of the various meetings, 1 might suggest that they try to write a story that accurately reflects the tone and substance of a public meeting. Writing about a meeting and actually being there and taking part in the action are two entirely different things —for many reasons, both physical and emotional.
For example, the reports we read about football games do not duplicate the experience of actually being there.
Keep up the good work.
