His family’s roots in Rappahannock go back almost two centuries to his grandfather Samuel who moved to the county from Maryland’s Eastern Shore in 1806. ”1 was born in Woodville in 1888. Grover Cleveland was president then,” Dennis reported. “Woodville looked about the same then as it does today. There’s not much difference.”

A Different World
