in this area enjoy a reciprocal arrangement with the concert associations of Manassas and Fairfax, so many attend programs there, as follows:
January 11, Jury’s Irish Cabaret of Dublin; March 4, Theordor Uppman, baritone; April 6, Cecile Licad, pianist. These concerts are held at the Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas.
At Fairfax the programs scheduled include the Aspen Soloist, January 10; the Romeros Duo, guitarists, March 7; and pianist Alexander Peskanov on April 24. Fairfax High School is the locale of these programs. Membership in the local concert association made the member eligible to attend all ten concerts at $12.00 per adult.
Spaghetti
Fund Raiser
A special holiday spaghetti dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, December 21, at Rappahannock County Elementary School.
Prices are $4 for all you can eat; $3 for regular serving and $1.25 for children 10 and under. Proceeds will benefit the seventh grade’s annual class trip to Williamsburg.
After eating, diners may stay for The Little Bell That Wouldn’t Stop Ringing, a Christmas production by second, third and fourth graders under the direction of Judy Bomberger. The elementary school band led by Robin Dexter also will perform several selections. The public is invited to attend this holiday program which begins at 7:30 p.m.
