The Shenandoah Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, is offering a “High Adventure” expedition, July 7 to July 28, to Philmont Scout Ranch. Philmont is a 214 square mile camp located in northwestern New Mexico in the Sangre de Criston mountains of the Rocky Mountain range. More than 400,000 campers and leaders from around the United States have hiked the trails of Philmont and experienced this rugged outdoor adventure.
Philmont offers boys a memorable and exciting high adventure experience. ^ The 21 day trip will include visits to many scenic and histone areas in approximately twenty States across the United States.
