Noting an increased consumer interest in recycling of all-aluminum cans and other scrap items, Reynolds Aluminum Recycling Company has increased hours of operation at area recycling centers.
The center at Safeway in Southgate Shoppirtg Center, Culpeper, will be open Saturdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The Warrenton center at the Northern Virginia Shopping Center on Route 29 will be open Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
According to the Reynolds Company, consumer recycling of aluminum items helps to conserve energy, clean up the environment and preserve natural resources. In addition, recyclers can earn additional cash.
