Retired Farmer
Marion Alfred Spicer, 85, died Monday, January 2, 1984, at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Jenkins Spicer of Culpeper; four daughters, Mrs. Charlie Coates of Culpeper, Mrs. Daniel Leach of Fairfax, Mrs. George Nalls of Fayettsville, N. C. and Mrs. Hunter Pote of Bealeton; two sons, Thomas Spicer of Warrenton and Carlton Spicer of Ruckeraville; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted on Wednesday at the Fairview Cemetery by the Rev. Harold Carder.
Pallbearers were Carlton Spicer, Jr., Thomas Spicer, Jr., William Nalls, Jeffrey Nalls, Michael Yeager and Chuck Coates.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
