Mrs. Rena Jennings Smedley, 83, of Luray, died Saturday, December 31, 1983, at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray.
Born on September 6, 1900, in Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Walter and Alma Thornton Partlow. On September 19, 1925, she married Lewis Smedley, who died on November 1, 1978.
Survivors include two step sisters, Mary Ellen Burke of Washington and Georgia Vaughan of Stafford.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray by the Rev. Max Fisher. Burial was at the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery.
