Richard Gore is recuperating from surgery in the Culpeper Memorial Hospital (Room 364) and is feeling better now. His immediate family has been keeping him company around the clock since last Friday. His brother-in-law, Claude Cook, came all the way from Florida to be with him as well as his daughter, Ellen, who flew in from Montana. His wife, Becky, takes real good care of him, and his son Rick and his wife, Beverly, have come up from Fredericksburg to be with both of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gore. All the neighbors and friends are missing and thinking about you Mr. Gore! We salute you - a great, World War II veteran!!!
Howard and Helen Holschuh are currently enjoying guests from Derby, Conn. They are their niece and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Miller and their two teenagers, Scott and Sharon. The Holschuh’s are taking them sightseeing to such splendid places as Charlottesville and the grand and scenic Skyline Drive. The Miller’s visit them every year. They’ve also been spending their time swimming in the pond and really love vacationing here.
