Mrs. Schwartz and daughter, Jane are standing on the upper porch and daughter “Billy” was looking through the banister close beside her mother. Post cards with the photograph was available at Schwartz’s Store along with general merchandise and a little of everything that county people needed. Today, the building along with an addition and minus the porches make up the Sperryville Comer Store. The Schwartz’s daughters, Jane and “Billy” reside near Harrisonburg.
