8PERRYVILLE: Summer, so fir, has provided weather in a somewhat reverse pattern.
June, which gives us the last few weeks of spring weather before giving way to summer, got off to a scorching start with several days of 90-degree temperatures; During this period of hot weather, many people were looking around the comer for July to be even worse. After all, if June bakes us July will certainly have something special in store.
Something special is right. It was the coolest July in over 20 years.
By less than one degree, July’s overall temperature was warmer than June’s, but June’s daytime temperature averaged 1.7 degrees warmer than July’s. It was during the night
